Adoptive fathers sought for new research

I am seeking adoptive fathers to interview about their experience of becoming a father through adoption. This is for a clinical psychology doctoral thesis in affiliation with the University of East London.

The transition to adoptive fatherhood is currently a neglected area of research in the UK. With only an hour or so of your time you could help us to learn more about this experience and potentially inform the processes and support involved.

If you had a child or children placed with you for adoption in the last 5 years, had no prior experience of being parent and would be interested in taking part in an interview (either face to face or on Skype and from which all information will be anonymised), please contact Susie Gordon-Jones on u1525459@uel.ac.uk to receive more information.
